Kongreung is the tomb of Queen Jangsoon,
the first wife of King Yejong of the
Joseon Dynasty. Queen Jangsoon was daughter
of the Prime minister. Han Hyeong-Hoe,
appointed her at the age of 16 as the
prince's wife in the 6th year of the
King Sejo (1460) and she was the mother
of prince Inseong and died the next
year at the age of 17. Soonreung is
the tomb of Queen Konghae, the first
wife of King Seongjong of the Joseon
dynasty. She was sister to Queen Jangsoon
and another daughter of Prime Minister
Han Myeong-Hoe. She was married at the
age of 11 in the 13th year of king Sejo
(1467), and was appointed as queen as
soon as King Seungjong became King and
she died at the age of 19. Youngreung
is the tomb of prince Hyojang, the eldest
son of King. Youngjo and his wife, queen
Hyosoon. Hyojang became a prince during
the 1st year of King Youngjo, but he
died at age 10, in the 4th year of King
Youngjo, and he was called Hyojang.
